Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat of New York, gave a strong speech on the Home ground Wednesday, slamming the passing of the Laken Riley Act.

“And these are the individuals who need you to consider—who need us to consider—that they are making an attempt to ‘maintain criminals off the road,’” Ocasio-Cortez added.
