President Donald Trump boasted but once more that he “invaded” California with the intention to activate its magic water faucet, fixing its wildfire issues.
“I invaded Los Angeles, and we opened up the water and the water is now flowing down. They’ve a lot water they do not know what to do. They had been sending it out to the Pacific for environmental causes,” he advised reporters on Thursday.
This was similar to Trump’s claim in January, which was factually incorrect in nearly each potential means. There was no invasion of U.S. troops into California’s Lake Kaweah and Lake Success reservoirs.
Fairly, Trump’s public relations stunt resulted within the draining of two main California water reservoirs with not one of the water making it wherever close to the wildfires.
However that’s not how Trump sees it.
“I did not suppose something, like, may occur like this, however they did not have sufficient water. Now the farmers are going to have water for his or her land and the water is in there. However I truly needed to break it, and we broke in to do it,” he mentioned.
Nicely, Trump and his co-president Elon Musk have certainly done something for farmers.
