After November\u2019s brutal results<\/a>, Democrats are charting a brand new path\u00a0by necessity<\/a>. That new path consists of selecting a brand new chair of the Democratic Nationwide Committee, after present Chair Jaime Harrison declined to hunt reelection.<\/p>\n The first of four forums<\/a>\u00a0was hosted by the DNC and held just about on Saturday, the place all\u00a0eight candidates united in criticism<\/a> of Washington, D.C. consultants<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The second forum<\/a>, hosted by CHORUS<\/a>, a web-based collective of influencers \u201ccoming collectively to finish the far-right\u2019s domination of on-line dialog<\/span>,\u201d shall be held Tuesday evening at 8 PM ET.<\/p>\n 4 of the highest candidates shall be collaborating: Ben Wikler, who at the moment chairs the Democratic Social gathering of\u00a0Wisconsin; Ken Martin, chair of the\u00a0<\/span>Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Social gathering;<\/span>\u00a0former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley; and Dr. Quintessa Hathaway, an Arkansas congressional candidate in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n Elections are Feb. 1.<\/p>\n
