Most of it discusses two of June&#8217;s jurisdictional selections\u2014Mallory v. Norfolk Southern Railway, and United States v. Texas\u2014with a shorter dialogue of the affirmative motion circumstances (see <a href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/volokh\/2023\/06\/29\/the-unsurprising-affirmative-action-decision-in-students-for-fair-admissions-v-harvard\/\">here<\/a> for my earlier publish on these).<\/p>\n<p>However first we talk about <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/supreme-court-sotomayor-book-sales-ethics-colleges-b2cb93493f927f995829762cb8338c02\">this AP story about Justice Sotomayor&#8217;s book business<\/a>, and speculate fervently about whether or not Justice Sotomayor bodily indicators the entire &#8220;signed&#8221; copies of her books herself, and in that case, how she discovered the time to signal 11,000 copies for a single look at Michigan State.
