Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> right-hander Zac Gallen<\/a>\u00a0and Texas Rangers righty Nathan Eovaldi<\/a> will begin Recreation 1 of the World Collection\u00a0on Friday in Arlington, Texas.<\/p>\n

Gallen, 28, is 2-2 with a 5.24 ERA in 4 video games this postseason.<\/p>\n

He surrendered 9 runs on 14 hits — together with 5 homers — over 11 innings in a pair of losses to the Philadelphia Phillies<\/a> within the NL Championship Collection, which Arizona won in seven games<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gallen posted a 17-9 document with a 3.47 ERA in 34 video games throughout the common season. He led the Diamondbacks in wins, strikeouts (220) and innings pitched (210).<\/p>\n
