Elon Musk’s Grok AI was already having a tough launch, with the bot trashing Musk<\/a> and cosigning a bunch of progressive political causes<\/a> which are anathema to the more and more regressive entrepreneur.<\/p>\n Now, add one other woe to Grok’s rocky debut: customers are noticing that it appears to be cribbing from its direct competitor ChatGPT, which is made by Musk’s former pals<\/a> and current enemies<\/a> at OpenAI.<\/p>\n In response to at least one question, as an illustration, Grok made a startling admission<\/a>: “I am afraid I can’t fulfill that request, because it goes towards OpenAI’s use case coverage.”<\/p>\n Keep in mind, OpenAI did not make Grok \u2014 Musk’s xAI startup did, no less than in idea.
