Donald Trump’s operating mate, J.D. Vance, gave his massive VP acceptance speech to the Republican Nationwide Conference on Wednesday evening.
Gone was any speak of Vance’s radical place on abortion. Gone was any speak of his equally radical want to finish no-fault divorce.
As an alternative, he instructed folks to observe video of Trump being shot at over the weekend. He delivered a painfully generic speech about how he’s a household man and a working-class Joe (who went to Yale Regulation Faculty), and the way Trump loves folks like Vance. And it was … boooorrrrrrinnnggg.
So boring that probably the most enthusiasm from the group—who was clearly determined for one thing to cheer, some small shred of inspiration—got here after they began chanting for themselves.
