A federal judge has ruled that California’s Clovis Neighborhood Faculty violated the First and 14th Modification rights of three conservative college students when it took down fliers that they had posted with anti-communist and pro-life messages. Decide Jennifer Thurston of the U.S. District Courtroom for the Jap District of California ordered the school to pay Alejandro Flores, Juliette Colunga, and Daniel Flores $20,000 every, plus $250,000 in charges for his or her attorneys. Thurston additionally ordered the State Heart Neighborhood Faculty District to develop a coverage to guard the First Modification rights of scholars and ordered directors to bear First Modification coaching for 2 years.
