“Analysis by my Lero colleague Dr. Abeba Birhane and others discovered that knowledge used to coach some AI is contaminated with racist and misogynist language. As AI turns into widespread, the usage of biased knowledge might result in hurt and additional marginalization for already marginalized teams.
