Generally politicians inform us who they’re by their actions—and typically they only inform us who they’re. Living proof: On Friday afternoon, new Home Speaker Mike Johnson despatched out a fundraising e mail that stated (in daring kind, no much less), “I refuse to place folks over politics.”
That may clarify why he’s been so terrible at fundraising. Clearly, there are some quality-control points in that operation.
