“It was not straightforward on the second (run), now I really feel the vitality has gone,” stated the American, who led Ljutic by greater than half a second after the opening run.

It was Shiffrin’s fifth slalom win of the season and her 58th in complete, a World Cup file for each women and men.

On Sunday, Duerr was 1.77 seconds off the lead in seventh.

Vlhova grew to become the third former general champion who had their season finish prematurely this month. On the lads’s facet, Alexis Pinturault and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde underwent surgical procedure for numerous accidents after they crashed at pace races in Wengen, Switzerland.
