A Canadian serial killer, convicted in 2007 of murdering six ladies, died Friday after being attacked two weeks in the past by a fellow inmate.
Robert Pickton, 74, a former pig famer from western Canada, is among the nation’s most infamous killers.
Though he was sentenced to life in jail for six murders, he was suspected of killing many extra ladies.
Pickton died in Quebec on Friday “in hospital following accidents ensuing from an assault involving one other inmate on Might 19, 2024,” Correctional Service Canada mentioned in a press release.

His victims have been killed between 1997 and 2001. Vancouver police have been criticized on the time for not taking the ladies’s disappearances critically as a result of many have been prostitutes, drug addicts or Indigenous.
Pickton was arrested in 2002.
