(Reuters) – Russia’s FSB safety service has charged a former worker of the USA consulate within the Russian Far East with accumulating data on the conflict in Ukraine and different points for Washington, state information company TASS stated on Monday.
The person relayed data to U.S. embassy staffers in Moscow on how Russia’s conscription marketing campaign was impacting political discontent forward of the 2024 presidential elections in Russia, TASS quoted the FSB as saying.
