An avalanche in Iran has killed 5 mountain climbers and injured one other 4.
State-run information company IRNA mentioned rescue staff recovered 5 our bodies from San Boran in Lorestan, round 186 miles southwest of Tehran.
The 4 survivors have been taken to hospital following the incident on Friday.
IRNA reported that the nine-strong mountaineering workforce began their ascent on Thursday, regardless of native authorities warning them about dangers.
