Harvard Enterprise Faculty professor Raffaella Sadun resigned from the presidential process pressure on antisemitism, in accordance with a supply accustomed to the state of affairs.
Interim Harvard President Alan M. Garber ’76 appointed Sadun in January to steer the duty pressure as a co-chair final month. Her choice to resign was confirmed in statements from Sadun and Garber on Sunday.

Sadun’s choice to resign is simply the most recent setback for Garber’s antisemitism process pressure, which has been dogged by controversy since its inception. After Garber introduced Sadun would co-lead the group with Jewish historical past professor Derek J. Penslar, Penslar’s appointment drew criticism over allegations that he had minimized campus antisemitism.
Sadun’s shock choice to step down from the duty pressure comes after The Crimson reported that Penslar considered resigning from his position as co-chair over the criticism surrounding his appointment.
The Crimson reported earlier this month Pc Science professor Boaz Barak would even be a member of the duty pressure and that former Harvard Hillel Govt Director Jonah C. Steinberg would function an advisor.
